We Believe

"Firmly grounded in the knowledge of the
Lord Jesus Christ"

We believe in the Holy Scripture being God-breathed and written by holy men, who were chosen, inspired, and directed by God.  Scripture is God's final, complete, inerrant and authoritative word to all generations of all times and cultures regarding His eternal plan for creation.

    We believe in the eternal existence of the Triune God-head which consists of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.  All members of the 'trinity' are coequal, cosubstantive, and coparticipant in all God's works, and duly receive equal honor and glory in worship.

    We believe that by God all things were created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him, and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

    We believe that man was created in God's image - perfect - but because of his willful, purposed disobedience to God's command, "Thou shalt not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil", he fell out of grace and fellowship with God and became enslaved to the power of Satan which is demonstrated through his sinful acts.

    We believe that before the foundations of the world were laid God ordained and commissioned Christ to leave heaven, take on human flesh, and die on the cross of Calvary for man's redemption.  We further believe that there is "no other name given under heaven (Jesus Christ) whereby man must be saved".

    We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, that he lived a sinless human life, that he died for the sins of humanity.  We further believe that Christ's atonement fulfilled the demands of God for the justification of man and, therefore, salvation is by grace through faith alone.

    We believe that Christ's salvific grace is offered universally, but individuals, personally, must accept Christ's offer of grace to be saved.  God's grace is received as one repents from his sin and believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  We believe further that those who confess Christ as Savior and Lord are called to obedience to His word, and must live a new lifestyle which demonstrates 'fruit' meet for repentance.

    We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ at which time He will judge both the living and the dead regarding their relationship to Him as Savior and Lord.  We further believe that no man knows the day nor the hour when Christ will return "for He will come as a thief in the night".

    We believe in an eternal destiny for humanity after death.  Those who have willingly refused to believe in Christ as Savior and Lord will be eternally damned to Hell and will be eternally separated from God, while those who have chosen to believe in Him through repentance will be gloriously saved and caught up into heaven to be there forever with their Lord. 

    We believe that God has created a new heaven and a new earth over which He and His saints will jointly rule after the rapture of His church takes place.
